Personas

Who you are in the story — save reusable personas with traits, background, and an avatar.

Updated View as Markdown

A persona is your character — the role you play in a chat. Instead of retyping who you are every time, save personas and switch between them per conversation.

Where to manage personas

  • Profile → Personas — create, edit, and delete them.
  • In a chat — pick a persona from the chat settings before or during a conversation.

Every field explained

  • Name — what your persona is called (shown as “You” in chat).
  • Description — who your persona is, in plain language. This is the main context the model uses.
  • What do you do — your persona’s occupation or role.
  • Chat traits — a list of personality traits, e.g. cautious, witty, stubborn.
  • Additional context — anything else the model should always know about this persona (background, quirks, possessions, relationships).
  • Avatar — optional image shown for “You” in chat.
  • Set as default — mark one persona as your default so new chats use it automatically.

Using personas in chat

When you start a chat, the model plays the character and treats your persona as the user side of the conversation. Personas and characters are separate on purpose: the same persona can chat with any character, and switching personas changes only your side of the story.
